What if you could share your creative passion and dare to shine with more confidence, ease, and joy?
I'm Jennifer Roig-FrancolĂ, creator of The Art of Freedom® Method for Conscious Living and Masterful Artistry.
I inspire musicians, artists, and other creators to get out of their own way
so they can express what matters to them most with greater freedom, presence, and ease.
If you're curious about working with me, welcome!
I'd love to introduce you to my work, and to the ideas behind Dare to Shine - The Retreat,
the intimate experience I'll be leading near Amsterdam this October.
You already have something to share
When I was a teenager, I could walk onto a stage and play some of the most demanding violin repertoire in front of thousands of people without much fear at all. But the night TIME Magazine honored me for my performing and I had to stand up and speak for myself, I mumbled through it, said something about how everyone should really just listen to my music instead, and left the stage as quickly as I could. I had every proof in the world that I was capable, and I still could not let myself be fully seen.
That experience began a question I've spent much of my life exploring: why can we be extraordinarily capable and still interfere with ourselves when it matters most?
I eventually discovered that confidence isn't something you either have or don't have. And trying harder to look confident can actually take us further away from ourselves.
What changed everything for me was learning how to interfere less, physically, mentally, and emotionally, so I could remain present, trust myself, and allow more of what was already there to come through.
Whether you play an instrument, create, teach, coach, speak, lead, or simply have something meaningful you want to bring into the world, that is the heart of my work.
The Art of Freedom®: Less interference. More of YOU.
Most approaches to growth ask: what do I need to add, fix, or do better in order to share my passion successfully with others?
The Art of Freedom® begins with a different question: what if the ease, facility, and creative responsiveness that you're looking for is already inside of you, and the real work is learning to stop interfering with it?
Over more than two decades of teaching, I've developed an integrated approach to mastery that brings together Alexander Technique principles, awareness and movement, constructive thinking, imagination, meditation, intuitive coaching, and my own lifetime of experience as a professional artist.
Together, we explore the connection between how you think, how you move, how you respond under pressure, and how freely you can create and express what matters to you.
The aim isn't to turn you into someone else - or someone "better". It's to help you release unnecessary effort, tension, overthinking, and self-conscious control, so more of your own intelligence, creativity, intuition, and natural presence can flow into your life for more personal and professional ease and joy.
Experience it for yourself
Rather than simply telling you about this work, I'd like to let you experience a little of it.
Try this short guided practice with me, and notice what changes when you give yourself permission
to stop trying quite so hard, and simply become more aware of your whole self.
A little about me...
I'm Jennifer Roig-FrancolĂ, creator of The Art of Freedom® Method for Conscious Living and Masterful Artistry.
Before devoting myself primarily to coaching, I spent decades as a professional violinist, performing internationally as a soloist and chamber musician, including multiple appearances at Carnegie Hall. I'm a prize-winning modern and baroque violinist, Certified Gifted Intuitive Coach™ and Alexander Technique teacher, and the author of the #1 bestselling book Make Great Music with Ease.
Today, I bring those worlds together to help musicians, artists, and other creators access greater freedom, presence, self-trust, and ease, especially when they want to share something that matters deeply to them with others.
Want to get to know me and my work a little better?
I've put together a small collection of videos so you can get a feel for who I am,
sample some of my teaching, and explore The Art of Freedom® before we meet.

What people say
Trusted by professional musicians, educators, coaches, artists, and creators around the world.
"I started working with Jennifer in 2022, after thirteen years of pain and severe stage fright that made me shake uncontrollably every time I performed. Within a couple of months the pain was gone, and today I feel more confident on stage than I ever have. I know how to control my nerves, and I honestly don't know how I survived without these techniques."
— Vicky Pierson Westerfield, violinist
"You created a welcoming atmosphere, with presence, warmth, love, spontaneity, and humour. I think your retreat is going to be fabulous."
— Marlene Fuchs, Transformational Coach, Switzerland (attended a Dare to Shine mini-retreat)
"The biggest shift was learning to get out of my own head, making it less about my anxieties and more about the people I want to serve. I was able to tune into my body's signals and find absolute clarity."
— Fifa Tran, Web Designer & Brand Strategist, Canada
This October, we get to explore all of this together.
Dare to Shine is my invitation to step out of your usual environment for two days and explore what becomes possible when you stop trying so hard to prove yourself, perfect your ideas, or control your delivery... and give yourself room to experiment.
We'll gather in a small group at beautiful Zwier on the water near Amsterdam, where you'll have space to slow down, listen more deeply to your own intuition, experiment with something meaningful to you, and discover what changes when you meet being seen with curiosity instead of judgment.
Bring your music, an idea, a project, a question, or simply your curious, creative self!
Zwier, on the Vinkeveense Plassen near Amsterdam, where we will gather October 24 and 25.
